1. Congrats for picking it up at 61.2. Without spending an arm and a leg, I would recommend a guitar that does not hinder your development and progress. For example, the guitar should stay in tune, and should not have an action so high that it becomes painful to play...

As an absolute beginer (at the age of 61 !!) I really appreciate your You tube lessons, thanks. Could you please tell me how much difference it makes using a good quality guitar rather than the cheap (£60 including amp) starter guitar I have purchased?Thanks again for the lessons.Roy

i have learned more from your 8mins of tution, than from 6 months of guitar lessons..you should consider producing a dvd..i'd buy it..!! excellent..P.S. do you have any videos for fingerpicking lessons for the right hand?..again excellent...
