sounds great! now I'm sure you realise, and it's probably come up already, but I think you should record the chord progression, keeping your current chords' rhythm, but continuing over top of the melody parts, and then record another track with your melody lines, and then put them together... that way, it wouldn't sound like a scramble between rhythm and melody, they'd both just flow together, and make your song complete. I don't know if I was really clear with what I mean, but you probably know
