ok this is just an Arabic tune, this scale already exists in arabic, its called hijaz, look it up, arabic has 7 diffrent scales

Not really breaking any rules... it's A Phrygian Dominant: 1 b2 3 4 5 b6 b7. To the guy below that thought it was gypsy, it would be if it was a natural 7th, but it's not.

It is a made up scale, it seems to be Phygian Dominant and Harmonic minor mixed together.This is an appifany for me because I found myself doing that when I was a teenager in my Randy Rhoads/Jimmy Page/Yngwie worship days ! lol Maarty is right , theory is important and being technical has its value but playing by ear and being open minded to break theory rules to gain a new sound is encouraged, after learning theory the advantage is you know what rules you are breaking = )
