Haven't you heard that the International Vegan Police will go "nuts" if you deviate from the "exact vegan rules"?I suggest a few more additions to the rules that vegans already have to follow.1)No whole grains (may contain insects or eggs). If you don't believe me, let your grains sit a while in the cabinet.2)No cultured or fermented products (yeasts and bacteria are living organisms too)3)Eating foods that were fertilized with animal waste or waste from non vegan sources. Thanks,BT

Yeah seriously amongst most vegans honey is considered NOT to be vegan. Don't claim something is vegan when it's not.

but raw unprocessed honey is better for you than syrup or any dairy product could ever be. if you're a vegan purely for ethical reasons, which i think is kinda strange but to each his/her own, then honey should be off limits.

The honey could easily be replaced by maple syrup. Although, that is just as sugary, if not more.

:P honey is not vegan...and a lot of charbohydrates in there..haha...really not sugar free...and then we add a fly!!!

In addition to it not being vegan, honey is also not "sugar free"

No, honey ain't vegan. Though I'm one of those who don't really find honey that bad, so even though I'm 'vegan', I sometimes use honey. I never use any milk or egg products though, so I label myself as 'vegan', because that covers my diet. I know many vegans are very strict when it comes to honey, and that's great as it's really not a vegan product.

HONEY AIN'T VEGAN! But it's still great you're posting some vegan recipes! Keep 'em coming!

what the hell -- honey is not vegan. this girl is so clueless, i'm amazed. this is such misinformation here. expertvillage, remove the 'vegan' label from this recipe. this is a VEGETARIAN recipe.
